Below are some top AEW & WWE news stories of the day:

– Parker Boudreaux came from Pro Football and was touted as ‘The Next Brock Lesnar’ (due to his resemblance to The Beast), when he went to train at the WWE Performance Center to become a professional wrestler.

Unfortunately, they cut his hair and presented him as a bodyguard type of character, called Harland on NXT TV, but he didn’t get over that way and was eventually released in April 2022.

Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling signed him and had him wrestle under his real name Parker Boudreaux, until he suffered an injury in March 2023 and he hasn’t returned to the ring yet.

Fightful Select provided an update on the 25 year old athlete:

“Sources indicate there are now no longer immediate creative plans for Trench and Parker Boudreaux since their removal from Mogul Affiliates due to injury.”

– AEW’s long awaited Fight Forever video game is finally out and WWE has made their move to cause a dent in the sales of their competition’s video game.

WWE 2K23 video game is now being offered at a discount and several DLC characters have been released as well.

Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported:

“It was funny that on the day of the AEW release that WWE sent out a mass email pushing its game as ‘the highest rated game in WWE 2K history is now 33 percent off’ and pushed DLC characters on 7/19 of Bray Wyatt, Uncle Howdy, Valhalla, Joe Gacy, Blair Davenport and Zeus.”

Michael Cole also pushed this message on Friday’s SmackDown during commentary.
