• Old School NWA Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School NWA Legend Mr. Wrestling II (Real name: John Walker) celebrates his 84th birthday today.

After touring the NWA territories during the 50s, 60s, 70s & early 80s, he was signed by Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation in 1984, when Vince bought ‘Georgia Championship Wrestling’ to get their timeslot on TBS.

The idea was to present GCW talent like him and The Spoiler on the WWF’s own version of ‘World Championship Wrestling’, the TV show they took over from GCW and later sold to Jim Crockett Promotions, so the fans would see some familiar faces that kept them interested in the new product.

Wrestling II didn’t last long and left the WWF in 1986.

He has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, but due to the young kids of today not knowing who he is, it will likely be an induction into the ‘Legacy Wing’.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mr. Wrestling II!

• Update On The Undertaker – Triple H Feud – “Must See” Appearance On Tonight’s RAW

As seen on last week’s RAW, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels predicted that Triple H will defeat The Undertaker in their ‘Last Time Ever’ match at WWE Super Show-Down in Australia on October 6th.

The Undertaker then made a surprise return and said that he’ll put Triple H down once again.

“The Game” will appear on tonight’s episode of RAW and WWE is teasing his appearance to be “must see”.

Below is what WWE posted:

The Game responds to The Deadman

“After WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels came to Raw and predicted a win for Triple H in The Game’s final battle against The Undertaker at WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia, The Phenom made a shocking return to the red brand to state, in no uncertain terms, that he is going to put HBK’s “buddy, Triple H, down again,” referring, of course, to The Deadman’s back-to-back WrestleMania wins against The Game in 2011 and 2012.

Triple H will address The Undertaker’s comments Monday in New Orleans in what will surely be a must-see appearance by The King of Kings.”
