• Update On Triple H’s Health After Cardiac Event

In September, WWE issued the following statement:

“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”

Later that month, Triple H wrote the following on Twitter:

“I’ve been blown away by the outreach and support from so many people. I’m recovering, doing well, & deeply grateful for all the love in my life.

Especially grateful for @ShawnMichaels & all the Superstars & crew @WWENXT! (Steph and the girls loved the snacks!)

See you soon.”

Bruce Prichard (Brother Love) gave the following update on Triple H on his podcast:

“He is feeling better, he’s coming along good. He’s moving along man, more power to him!”

In the past, Triple H has told people backstage that he would like to have a retirement tour, but that might not be possible at this point.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Triple H hasn’t returned to work backstage in WWE and might never wrestle again:

“I wouldn’t expect HHH to ever wrestle again, although it is possible he may do one retirement match if he feels the need to leave on his own terms and doctors will clear him, but that’s not likely to be for a long time and he hasn’t even returned to behind-the-scenes work yet.”

Below are the results of Triple H’s last 5 matches:

– Triple H vs. Randy Orton in a Street Fight ended in a No Contest (WWE RAW – January 11, 2021)

– Triple H & Shinsuke Nakamura def. Samoa Joe & Robert Roode (WWE Live Event – June 29, 2019)

– Triple H, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson def. Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe & Baron Corbin (WWE Live Event – June 28, 2019)

– Randy Orton def. Triple H (WWE Super ShowDown – June 7, 2019)

– Triple H def. Batista in a No Holds Barred Match (WrestleMania 35 – April 7, 2019)
