Bad Bunny defeated Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight in the co-main event of Backlash 2023.
This was the longest match of the night, as it lasted 25 minutes.
This was Bunny’s 3rd WWE match. Judgment Day members Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio interfered in the match, which led to Carlito, Savio Vega, Rey Mysterio & LWO coming out to make the save.
In the end, Bunny hit the Canadian Destroyer and pinned Priest to win his first ever singles match.

According to WRKD Wrestling, WWE wants to use Bad Bunny at SummerSlam 2023 next:
“In case it wasn’t apparent, Bad Bunny’s Backlash match absolutely exceeded expectations backstage with many superstars lined up at Gorilla to celebrate with him.
There’s hopes backstage in using him in some form for SummerSlam.”
