According to Fightful Select, WWE sources said this moment could be referenced on television as part of the ongoing storyline. The situation sparked discussion online after Lee’s face was briefly shown when his mask came off during the match.
However, those within WWE told Fightful that the camera shot used during the moment was not accidental. It was reportedly emphasized several times during the week that the angle was chosen on purpose.
Fightful was also told there were no complaints from anyone involved in the segment. Sources noted that if WWE did not want the moment to be seen, the company would have edited the footage before posting the clip on social media.
• Possible Spoiler On The Next Main Roster Call Up From NXT
Ethan Page recently lost the NXT North American Championship to Myles Borne. His reign ended at 273 days. Page also lost his title rematch to Borne. According to Bodyslam, WWE officials are discussing Page’s main roster call up. However, it won’t happen immediately.
There are also talks going on about Ethan entering the NXT Championship main event picture before heading to the main roster.
Ethan’s official WWE main roster call up isn’t expected to happen before WrestleMania 42. WWE usually saves such call ups for the post-WrestleMania episodes of RAW and SmackDown.
It is possible that Ethan Page joins Chelsea Green on SmackDown, as they were the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions at one point and have worked together on NXT as well.

• Original WrestleMania 42 Plan For Jade Cargill
According to the Wrestling Observer, the original plan for WrestleMania 42 was for Jade Cargill to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair.
Belair was scheduled to win either the Women’s Royal Rumble match or the Women’s Elimination Chamber match to earn a title shot against her former tag team partner.
However, Belair still hasn’t healed from her finger injury and this forced WWE to cancel those plans. Instead of Belair, Rhea Ripley ended up winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber match to earn a title match against Cargill at the Show of Shows.
Cargill and Ripley will come face-to-face on tonight’s SmackDown.
