• Old School ECW Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 48th birthday of ECW Veteran “The Hardcore Chair Swingin’ Freak” Balls Mahoney (Real name: Jonathan Rechner).

The first time we saw him on TV was when he did televised jobs for the World Wrestling Federation in 1992. He later joined Jim Cornette’s Smoky Mountain Wrestling in 1994.

Before Balls Mahoney made a name for himself in Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling, he portrayed The Million Dollar Man’s evil Santa Claus called “Xanta Klaus” on WWF TV for a short period of time.

In ECW, he won 3 Tag Team Championships, 2 with Spike Dudley and 1 with Masato Tanaka.

• Update On Which WrestleMania 36 Night Drew More Viewers

According to the Wrestling Observer, Night 1 of WrestleMania 36 (main evented by The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles) drew more viewers than Night 2 of WrestleMania 36 (main evented by Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre).

The total viewers on the WWE Network on Night 1 were more than total viewers on the WWE Network on Night 2, although the Kickoff Show of Night 2 (112,000 viewers) drew more viewers than Kickoff Show of Night 1 (106,000 viewers) on FS1.

On YouTube, Night 1 Kickoff show (featuring Cesaro vs. Drew Gulak) drew 3 million views, which is more than what Night 2 Kickoff Show (featuring Natalya vs. Liv Morgan) drew – 1.9 million.

On this week’s SmackDown, The Miz noted during his segment that WrestleMania 36 became the most watched WrestleMania of all time.
