18. Former WWE Star Wins The GFW Global Championship In Impact Wrestling

On last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio (now known as Alberto El Patron) added another Title to his resume.

Alberto defeated Magnus to become the new GFW Global Champion. For those who don’t know, Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling (GFW) and Impact Wrestling recently merged.

Alberto is now only the second man ever to hold the GFW Global Title, as Magnus was the inaugural Champion (won the Title in 2015 at GFW event after defeating Bobby Roode).
