• Shinsuke Nakamura Reveals His Retirement Age

During a recent interview with Strait Times, SmackDown wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura revealed that he wants to retire from Pro-Wrestling when he’s 45 years old:

“I want to wrestle at least five more years. I’m 39 now. (Former MLB) baseball player Ichiro Suzuki retired at 45 and he was such an influence for Japanese sportsmen, especially those who lived in other countries. And so I need to wrestle until I’m 45 years old.”

Updated numbers for AEW Double Or Nothing PPV have been revealed by the Wrestling Observer and it was noted that AEW’s first ever PPV event did somewhere between 98,500 and 113,000 buys.

Both AEW & TNT officials see these numbers as big success for the upstart wrestling company.
