• USA Network Reportedly Unhappy With WWE, Wants Dark Adult Content On RAW

This week’s pre-TLC episode of WWE RAW drew an all-time record low viewership of 1.53 million viewers. RAW has been dealing with low viewership for a while now, and it has stayed under the 2 million mark for most of the year.

As we noted before, a report from WrestleVotes stated that WWE officials aren’t taking this news lightly, and may be planning some reactionary measures to tackle it.

According to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, USA Network isn’t pleased with the red brand’s performance lately. The network is said to be “furious”, and wants “more adult content. Not sexy adult, but dark and violent adult.”

The upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January 2021 could serve as some sort of “reset” for WWE, the report states.
