• Former WWF Women’s Champion Debra has transitioned from wrestling to criminal justice.
During an interview on ‘For The Love of Wrestling’, she revealed that after leaving wrestling, she earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Alabama and now works for the District Attorney’s Office in New Orleans.
“After I left wrestling, I ended up going to the University of Alabama, and I received a Bachelor [degree], and then I received a Master of Science in criminal justice.
From the University of Alabama, and now I currently work for the District Attorney’s Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. So it’s been an interesting journey from wrestling to what I do now.”
While she’s found success outside wrestling, she hasn’t ruled out a return and named Jeff Jarrett as the person she’d most like to work with again.
“I would say Jeff Jarrett. Well, you know, we worked together in WCW and then also in the WWF/WWE. But, I don’t know. I just know his movements, and we just worked, I thought, really well together.”
