• Viewership For Last Night’s AEW Dynamite With CM Punk’s 2nd AEW Appearance
AEW’s newest signing, CM Punk, made his Dynamite debut on last night’s episode.
Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite drew 1.17 million viewers, with a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demo (which means 620,000 viewers were between the age of 18 and 49).
This is up from last week’s 975,000 viewers, with a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 demo.
It should be noted that last night’s 1.17 million number is the ‘overnight viewership’, which means the final viewership might be a little less.
Last week’s episode of AEW Rampage, featuring CM Punk’s debut, drew an overnight viewership of 1.16 million, but the final/official viewership number was 1.13 million.

On this day in 1999, the World Wrestling Federation aired the first episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF SmackDown!’.
This was in fact the first regular weekly episode, while there was a seperate stand-alone pilot ‘WWF SmackDown!’ show on TV earlier that year on April 29, 1999.
