In the Mr. McMahon Netflix docuseries, Vince McMahon addressed Sable’s 1999 s*xual harassment lawsuit against WWE, but he downplayed his memory of the situation.

Sable, one of WWE’s most popular performers at the time, filed a $110 million lawsuit alleging s*xual harassment and unsafe working conditions, particularly stemming from her refusal to perform a topless segment.

When asked about the lawsuit, McMahon claimed limited knowledge:

“I don’t know much about Sable in terms of the lawsuit… it’s kind of a blur but all I know is she came back to work.”

Sable eventually returned to WWE in 2003, playing the role of McMahon’s assistant.

The documentary also revisited McMahon’s 2001 Playboy interview, where he admitted to cheating on his wife, Linda.

He emphasized that his real-life actions were separate from his on-screen Mr. McMahon character.

“Me as a human being, generally speaking, is not who that character is.

Sometimes people think it’s the same thing, joking.

But nonetheless, no.”
