• Vince McMahon Documentary Headed To Netflix, WWE Announces Major Event In India For 2021

WWE’s Third Quarter 2020 Earnings call took place on Thursday afternoon from the WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

The company reported strong quarters this time too.

During the call, WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan announced that they have reached a groundbreaking deal with Netflix, selling them a multi-part documentary on the life of WWE CEO Vince McMahon.

He noted that it is going to be one of the “highest-budgeted” documentaries in Netflix history.

Bill Simmons will be the executive producer for it. Chris Smith, who directed Netflix’s Fyre Fest documentary, will produce the documentary along with WWE.

It was also announced that an event with Sony in India that will mainly feature Indian talent will take place in 2021. It will air on Sony in India and will also be distributed in the United States.

WWE is looking for the right talent and structure for it so it makes sense for everyone involved.
