• Vince McMahon Looked Horrible In Hulk Hogan Documentary, Says AEW Legend

AEW commentator Jim Ross thinks Vince McMahon looked horrible in “TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan” documentary this past Tuesday. Here’s what JR said on his podcast:

“I thought he looked horrible. I thought he looked tired, withdrawn and it had me concerned. Whoever did his makeup should be fired. He just looked withdrawn and so old, his eyes tell a big story, to me that he looked tired and a little frustrated. The hair thing was one issue that caught my eye, having his eyebrows colored, another thing that caught my eye.”

• WWE Might Be Preparing To Bring Vince McMahon Back For One Night, Says Hall of Famer

Vince McMahon’s return to the spotlight has some in the wrestling world wondering if it’s only the beginning – and Bully Ray thinks it could lead to a big moment at John Cena’s farewell. The WWE Hall of Famer shared his thoughts on Busted Open After Dark, after catching McMahon’s appearance in “TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan” documentary this past Tuesday, his first significant interview since stepping away from WWE in early 2024. For Bully, the sight of Vince again was more than just nostalgia – it was a reminder of the respect McMahon had always shown him and D-Von Dudley, both in and out of the ring.

That cameo, along with McMahon being briefly featured in WWE’s recent Hogan tribute package, struck Bully as more than coincidence. He sees it as a calculated move, perhaps a soft reintroduction for a man who was once the most prominent on-screen authority figure in wrestling. In fact, Bully even mused about the “Mr. McMahon” character resurfacing, calling him one of the greatest antagonists the business has ever seen.

From there, a listener’s suggestion sent the conversation in a different direction: what if McMahon appeared at John Cena’s final match this December? Bully didn’t just agree – he championed the idea, arguing that the man who gave Cena his start deserves to be part of the send-off. In his eyes, it could create a moment so steeped in history that fans might set aside their feelings about McMahon’s real-life controversies, if only for a few minutes.

Bully believes WWE and TKO would be wise to watch how audiences react to Vince’s public appearances, just as they likely monitored the online buzz after the Hogan-TMZ documentary aired. Wrestling, he reminded listeners, is a business built on timing and perception – and if the crowd embraces McMahon now, the company may be tempted to roll the dice on bringing him back for one more emotional chapter.

• Naomi’s Medical Situation Sparks Unexpected Heel Turn

On this week’s RAW, Michael Cole announced that Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and her Women’s World Championship defense against IYO SKY will not take place. Due to this, WWE booked IYO SKY vs. Roxanne Perez. Before the match, Asuka and Kairi Sane offered to be in IYO’s corner, but IYO said no thanks.

Despite this, Asuka and Kairi came out to help IYO during the match, but Roxanne pushed IYO into Asuka and Kairi, knocking them off the ring apron. Roxanne then pinned IYO by pulling IYO’s tights. IYO wasn’t happy with Asuka and Kairi, and confronted them backstage, which led to Asuka pushing IYO.

According to PWInsider, Asuka is a heel after this segment. The original plan for Asuka’s heel turn on IYO was scheduled to be a “slow burn” storyline building over the next few weeks, but WWE decided to change plans and pull the trigger due to the Naomi situation.
