On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF SmackDown!’.
It was broadcasted from the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri and featured pre-taped matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF No Way Out 2001’ PPV.

• Vince McMahon Reportedly Wants Roman Reigns In Action At WrestleMania 35
As we noted before, WWE announced that “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns will be returning to WWE programming on next week’s episode of RAW.
Many are expecting that Reigns will provide a positive update on his leukemia treatment and with that being said, it is possible that we see Roman Reigns return to in-ring action at WrestleMania 35.
As seen at Elimination Chamber 2019 PPV, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley & Baron Corbin teamed up to beat up Braun Strowman and Triple Powerbombed him through 2 Tables!
Corbin then pinned Strowman to win their No DQ match.
According to WrestlingNewsCo, this storyline could lead to the WWE in-ring return of Reigns.
WrestlingNewsCo noted that Vince McMahon specifically told the commentators to say that the Triple Powerbomb that the Heels hit on Strowman is The Shield’s Powerbomb.
This angle was done to portray that Strowman doesn’t have any friends in WWE.

It is now being speculated that the reason Dean Ambrose was turned babyface out of nowhere was to insert him into this feud as one of Strowman’s partner.
With that being said, a lot of people backstage in WWE are thinking that Strowman’s 3rd partner could be Roman Reigns.
With Roman returning on RAW, even more speculation has begun regarding Reigns being involved in this feud as word going on is that Vince wants Reigns back in action at WrestleMania 35 (especially since this year’s WrestleMania isn’t looking strong on paper).
