• Vince McMahon Sending The Entire WWE Roster To The Performance Center

According to a PWInsider report, WWE has informed all their main roster wrestlers that they have to report to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida over the next few weeks, in order to do certain in-ring workouts.

It’s said to be done to accurately prepare them for the promotion going back on the road in July.

Vince McMahon seems to be the person behind that decision.

Here’s what PWInsider reported on the situation:

“Everyone on the roster, from top names on down, will be asked to take part in the workouts.

One talent joked they weren’t thrilled about having to roll around in the ring on an ‘off day’.”

Some of the wrestlers are looking forward to this, as they feel their in-ring timing has been off for while due to them only working once a week for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Old School WCW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW/TNA Veteran AJ Styles (Real name: Allen Jones) celebrates his 44th birthday today.

AJ Styles joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in early 2001, where he was put in a Tag Team with Air Paris, but when the company was sold to Vince McMahon in March neither one of them had their contracts picked up by the World Wrestling Federation.

Styles did have quite a few try-out matches, dark matches and even a minor televised match (on Jakked/Metal) for the WWF in 2001 & 2002, but eventually ended up signing with Jeff Jarrett’s new NWA-TNA promotion, where he made a name for himself by winning the X-Division Championship, as well as the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, among other titles.

He stayed with Total Nonstop Action! for almost 12 years until early 2014, before he left to wrestle on the indies and eventually ended up with the WWE in January 2016.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AJ STYLES!
