On this day in 1993, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Saturday Night’.
It was taped at the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the “WCW Slamboree 1993: A Legends’ Reunion” PPV.

• Vince McMahon Waiting To Make A Decision Regarding WrestleMania 36 Is Frustrating WWE Employees
WWE cancelling RAW & SmackDown events and holding them at the Performance Center has began speculation that there’s a pretty good chance WWE will postpone WrestleMania 36.
However, no official announcement has been made yet and City Of Tampa will discuss WrestleMania’s status once again in a week from now.
According to Brad Shepard, WWE employees are frustrated due to this situation:
“The latest on the WWE/coronavirus situation, per a source:
– Most employees are now working from home with no timetable.
– Emails from HR have been vague and aren’t providing answers or clear direction.
– The news to decide on WrestleMania next week is seen as disappointing.
Employees want a concrete decision to work with, and it feels like Vince is waiting for Tampa/Florida to force his hand, so he can blame them if plans change.
– One main issue is the work leading up to WrestleMania. For example, the entrance set takes about 10 days to build.”
