Former WWE employee Janel Grant has filed a pre-action discovery petition against Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc. Grant alleges that, starting in November 2019, she was directed by Vince McMahon to Colker’s clinic, where she received undisclosed treatments, including pills and I.V. infusions. When Grant inquired about the pills, Colker allegedly questioned her trust in him.

Grant’s attorneys stated: “On multiple visits, Dr. Colker prescribed Ms. Grant with ‘adrenal trays’ or ‘adrenal supplement trays,’ provided by his office and instructed her to take the unmarked pills daily. Dr. Colker did not explain the substances, dosages, or purpose of the pills to Ms. Grant beyond purportedly addressing her symptoms of fatigue.

When Ms. Grant asked Dr. Colker about the substance of the supplement trays, and specifically which substance(s) caused her to experience nausea, he responded with pushback about trust, including, ‘If you don’t trust me, we have bigger problems.’”

Grant seeks medical records related to a $ex trafficking lawsuit she filed against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. She claims the clinic’s provided records are incomplete and inaccurate. Grant also alleges that a Peak Wellness employee was involved in instances of $exual abuse by McMahon.

The federal complaint filed in January includes allegations of $exual abuse and $ex trafficking by McMahon, with WWE purportedly supporting McMahon’s relationship with Grant.

The complaint describes McMahon pressuring Grant into threesomes with a physical therapist from an unnamed clinic and urging her to remain under the care of a physician anonymized as “Celebrity Doctor.”

The new filing in Connecticut alleges that Colker knew about the nondisclosure agreement between Grant and McMahon, which is central to the federal lawsuit. Grant claims Colker recommended his attorney to help negotiate the NDA with McMahon.

In an update, Vince McMahon has filed a motion to lift the court-ordered stay of the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis.

Jessica Taub Rosenberg (McMahon’s lawyer) issued the following statement:

“Today’s motion is in response to Ms. Grant’s flagrant violation of the federal Stay Order. After telling the Federal Court that she would pause her lawsuit, Ms. Grant immediately violated the Stay Order seeking one-sided discovery for her own benefit.

Her lawyer told the media that the information sought in the new Connecticut state action is ‘to assist in our claims in the federal action.’ We are asking the federal Court to ensure that Plaintiff abides by the Court’s order and if she does not that civil contempt and financial sanctions may result.

Mr. McMahon now asks the Court for a limited lifting of the stay to permit the filing and adjudication of his Motion to Enforce the Court’s Stay Order.”

Grant’s lawyer Ann Callis issued the following response:

“We did not violate a federal stay by filing a state action against a non-defendant.”

In the latest filings, McMahon’s legal team argues that Grant’s petition against Colker and Peak Wellness in state court violates the stay in the federal case. They claim this petition is intended to support Grant’s federal case, which has been put on hold pending a federal investigation.

McMahon is requesting the court to prohibit Grant from using any information obtained through this petition and to potentially hold Grant in contempt of court.
