Jonathan Coachman previously reported that Vince McMahon isn’t on speaking terms with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and isn’t happy with how WWE is being run right now:
“So I also got some other information concerning Vince, and he’s not happy with what’s going on in WWE right now, as you can imagine. Remember at WrestleMania when Triple H and Stephanie brought everyone out front to show who’s running things?
Well, apparently Vince hasn’t spoken to either of them since the board vote, when they had to decide whether to keep him or send him out, and he won’t speak to them. They both voted no.
It feels to me like Shane, who’s sided with Vince on several occasions, might be the only one he’s still close with. And we all know Vince’s history with Triple H… he despises him. Vince was once quoted saying there’s one too many McMahons in the kitchen, referring to Triple H.
According to my source, Vince is very upset right now. But at the same time, it almost seems like he’s happy this chaos is happening. We’ve seen this before with Vince, in other companies, where once things reach a certain point, he walks away. But then again, sometimes he makes a move.
Now just imagine this. Triple H reportedly didn’t even show up on the financials. He’s making so little compared to others.
What if Vince, seeing all this infighting and dysfunction, decided to step back in and buy WWE back from TKO? Can you imagine that? Vince reclaiming WWE?”
Now, Coachman is claiming that McMahon wants to buy WWE. Here’s what he said on the Coach & Bro podcast:
“I mentioned on Twitter and I’ve been, by the way, going viral. You probably seen I’ve been quoted everywhere when I talked about Vince re-buying. I’ve been quoted everywhere. And the one thing I’ve yet to be wrong about, anything.
And so now all of a sudden I’m getting all of these websites because I have educated views and I also have people that are tipping me off. Now, do I know 100% he’s going to buy? I know he wants to.”
Vince McMahon last appeared on WWE programming on an episode of RAW in June 2022.
Vince McMahon’s Attorney Reacts To The John Laurinaitis Situation
John Laurinaitis, former WWE executive and co-defendant in the high-profile lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon, has agreed to cooperate with plaintiff Janel Grant and provide evidence in her case. The update was confirmed in a statement shared with NBC News on Wednesday. Laurinaitis has reached a confidential settlement with Grant. According to the statement, “John Laurinaitis has agreed to cooperate and provide evidence in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE.”
His representatives called the agreement “a pivotal next step toward holding McMahon and WWE accountable and bringing justice to Ms. Grant after years of $exual abuse and trafficking.”
They added, “Mr. Laurinaitis looks forward to moving on with his life. We cannot provide any additional details at this time.”
With that being said, Laurinaitis has been dropped as a defendant in this lawsuit:
“Plaintiff Janel Grant hereby stipulates with Defendant John Laurinaitis that the above-entitled action is voluntarily dismissed, with prejudice, against Defendant John Laurinaitis.”
Vince McMahon’s attorney, Jessica Rosenberg, sent us the following statement regarding this situation:
“Today’s dismissal of John Laurinaitis as a defendant doesn’t alter the facts of this case in any way. Vince McMahon never mistreated Janel Grant. No matter how many press releases her team issues, the truth remains unchanged.
As Mr. Laurinaitis’s lawyer previously said: ‘Mr. Laurinaitis corroborates Mr. McMahon in publicly declaring that Ms. Grant’s allegations of $exual abuse and coercion in her Complaint are completely unfounded.’”
