• Paul Heyman had his first segment with Roman Reigns in the Bloodline story on SmackDown after WWE SummerSlam 2020.

During this segment, it was revealed that Reigns and Heyman had joined forces, as they exchanged their catchphrases, with Reigns saying “it’s not a prediction, it’s a spoiler”, while Heyman said “believe that”.

On Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Heyman revealed Vince McMahon’s reaction to this segment:

“Vince was so mad. ‘Goddamn, that’s a terrible couch! Jesus Christ. Looks like sh*t.’ But we did it live, you know? And even though it was taped, he was like, ‘Let’s reshoot it.’ But we had no other couches. Where are we going to find a couch at midnight? That was it. So we lived with it.”

On his YouTube channel, WWE Veteran Stevie Richards had the following to say about this video package:

“Whoever wrote that is awesome. But there’s some very old-school Vince McMahon verbiage there. Like, it’s just weird unless it’s just instilled with the company.
