• Vince Russo Explains Why He Can’t Take AEW Seriously

CM Punk joined Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling in 2021 and won the AEW World Title twice (and got injured during both reigns), but got suspended over a backstage brawl with The Elite, that took place after the All Out 2022 PPV.

On a recent episode of Dynamite, AEW EVPs Kenny Omega & Young Bucks mocked Punk in Chicago.

Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion & former WWF/WCW writer Vince Russo took to Twitter to explain why he can’t take All Elite Wrestling seriously.

Here’s what Russo tweeted:

“@AEW Marks can’t UNDERSTAND why I don’t take their company seriously? Your initial audience on @TBSNetwork is down 600K from where you started OVER 3 years ago. So what do you do? You have three EVPs of the Company mock a Wrestler who’s no longer there. Who’s the Joke on?”
