Wardlow last appeared on AEW programming on the debut episode of Collision back in June, where he lost the TNT Championhip to Luchasaurus.

Speaking on Fandom Spotlite, Mr. Mayhem revealed he’s been very depressed since AEW stopped using him on TV.

“So, I’ve been off TV for almost a couple of months and I’ve been very depressed. Wrestling is my everything, it makes me happy. It was a rough start for me on Collision, I do not know when I’ll be back, hopefully soon.”

Wardlow then said he could beat the sh*t out of CM Punk and MJF, and then thanked the fans for showing up in big numbers for the panel.

“Today I feel like me again for the first time in months. So, I just want to say thank you guys for coming out because you guys really, really flipped a switch in my mind, and my heart that I needed.”

Wardlow worked for MJF until he had enough of the AEW World Champion and decided to be on his own over a year ago. MJF suffered his last singles loss against Wardlow at Double Or Nothing 2022.

In an interview with DAE On Demand, Wardlow was asked about challenging MJF for the AEW World Championship.

He responded:

“You would think so, but apparently, there are a lot of whining crybabies that are ahead of me. Let’s face the facts, as long as MJF has the title, I’ll probably never be in the picture as long as he has anything to do with it.

He knows, as everyone knows, I murdered him when we wrestled. I am the one guy in the company that has beat our champion. Not only beat our champion, but squashed our champion.

There is another guy (CM Punk) running around calling himself the champion and I’m pretty sure I beat the brakes off him as well.”

Wardlow was then asked if he could improve at something, to which he replied:

“Politics. As long as MJF is at the top, he’s going to do everything he can to keep me at the bottom.”
