• WCW Legend Says Fans Will Have A Blast When Ric Flair Gets Physical In AEW

On a recent episode of his weekly ’83 Weeks’ podcast, Old School WCW Legend Eric Bischoff talked about Ric Flair possibly joining Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling.

Flair himself teased it during his appearance at last night’s NWA 73 PPV, so it’s actually very likely that we will see The Nature Boy’s AEW debut before the year is over.

But will he actually wrestle?

Here’s what Easy E had to say:

“Watch what happens when Ric Flair steps in the ring in AEW. Just watch what happens. We saw what happened in Mexico in AAA when Ric Flair and Andrade got together. When Ric Flair steps back in the ring and starts chopping somebody, nobody is going to say to themselves ‘Oh man, that was a weak chop, he doesn’t chop as well as he did 20 years ago.’

Nobody could give two sh*ts, they’re going to have a blast. They’ll rejoice, it’s going to trigger their memory and they’re going to go back in time and remember some of those magic Ric Flair moments and that’s what they’re paying their money for.”

Ric Flair is 72 years old and officially retired at WrestleMania 24 in 2008, which didn’t keep him from wrestling for TNA until 2011.

His last match took place almost 10 years ago, on September 12, 2011, where Ric lost against his old WCW rival, Sting.
