As we reported a few days back, WCW wrestler Ice Train passed away at the age of 56. Now, we are saddened to report the death of another WCW wrestler.
Old School WCW Veteran The Mongolian Mauler (Real name: Peter Raymond Miller), a Rochester, NY native, passed away peacefully at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Indiana on January 22nd 2024, after a prolonged illness. He was 62 years old.
A graduate of Greece Arcadia High School, Peter enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp and was honorably discharged from the 29 Palms Marine Corps Station in California.
Having ventured into professional wrestling, The Mongolian Mauler enjoyed a successful career, becoming a Wrestling Manager/Promoter.
Peter organized tours and shows across Asia, Europe, Mexico, and North America. He also wrestled all over the globe, but was prominently featured in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling organization, where he wrestled in 1994 and even teamed up with ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin, who later became known as one of the biggest draws of all time, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
Among his opponents in WCW were Brian Pillman, Dustin Rhodes (Pre-Goldust), Sting, and Brian Armstrong (Pre-Road Dogg).
Known for his compassion and kindness, Peter was a beloved brother and friend, leaving behind surviving siblings: John F. Miller, Jr., Karen Groat, Joanne Reynolds, and Michael Miller.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John F. Miller and Priscilla J. Miller. Peter’s warm personality and impact on those who knew him will be deeply missed.
