• WCW Veteran Reveals Why Ric Flair ‘Buried’ DDP
Ric Flair is from a generation of Pro Wrestlers, where ‘calling it in the ring’ was a standard thing during matches, but nowadays it has become a lost art, which is unfortunate.
However, even back in the day some stars used to plan their matches move-for-move and step by step from start to finish, including major names like The Macho Man Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page.
During a recent episode of the ‘Keepin’ It 100 with Konnan and Disco Inferno’ podcast, WCW Veteran Disco Inferno revealed that The Nature Boy buried DDP for planning out every bit of his matches beforehand.
Here’s what the former 2x WCW World Television Champion had to say:
“It wasn’t to each other, but Ric would throw (shade). He’d bury Page every once in a while … because Page liked to go over move-for-move.”
