• “We can’t keep relying on the same small-knit group of people that have a track record of success” – Top AEW Star

During an interview with Justin Barrasso, AEW star Kenny Omega had the following to say about the future of the professional wrestling business:

“I could main event until I’m dead. But what follows after if I haven’t built anybody – or if I haven’t had a hand in helping the next generation rise up? That’s more so my role now than it’s ever been.

We need to trust our future. There are people who need these experiences. They need to learn and evolve as performers.

We can’t keep relying on the same small-knit group of people that have a track record of success. We need to be cognizant of what we’re doing moving forward.”

• Retired Wrestler Reveals The Real Reason Brock Lesnar Attacked Him

Before his match against John Cena at Wrestlepalooza 2025, Brock Lesnar attacked WWE commentator Corey Graves on an episode of SmackDown and hit Graves with two F5s.

During an interview on Steel City Sunday, Corey explained why The Beast was booked to attack him:

“The Lesnar thing. I actually needed paternity time, so that was a good way to write me off TV. It was the most fun I’ve ever had being in pain.

I was a little stiff for a couple of days afterwards. My hip was giving me some trouble after the second F5.”

• WWE Celebrity Returning At WrestleMania 42

Stephen Amell is eyeing a return to the bright lights of WrestleMania. During an interview on iHeartRadio CA, the Arrow and Heels star revealed that while he hasn’t been following AEW as closely lately, he is fully locked into the current WWE product as the Road to WrestleMania heats up.

Amell dropped a major hint about his spring schedule, stating that he expects to make a cameo on Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

“I’m not up to date with AEW. I’m certainly up to date with WWE. We are on the road to WrestleMania. I think I’m going to make a cameo on Night 2 at WrestleMania this year.”

While he didn’t give away any specifics regarding his role, his history with the company suggests it could be more than just a seat in the front row. Amell famously competed in a high-profile tag match at SummerSlam 2015, where he teamed up with Neville (Pac) to defeat King Barrett and Stardust (Cody Rhodes).

Beyond his WWE work, Amell’s wrestling resume includes a singles match against Christopher Daniels at the original All In and various appearances for Ring of Honor.
