• We May Not Have Seen The Last Of CM Punk

After the backstage fight at the All Out 2022 PPV, AEW launched an investigation to find out who started the fight – CM Punk or The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks).

All Elite Wrestling found Punk guilty of starting the fist fight backstage.

Tony Khan is now in talks with Punk about buying out the remainder of his contract, as he doesn’t want Punk to return to AEW.

Does this mean Punk’s days in the ring are over?

According to Fightful Select, a WWE source told them that they’d like to discuss a possible WWE return with Punk, if he’s interested in it.

Also, a source close to Punk told them that the former 2-time AEW World Champion has “got the wrestling bug again”.

Punk is currently dealing with an injury. He tore his triceps during the All Out PPV main event and had to undergo surgery. This was his second surgery of 2022.
