• “We’re making more money than we were in WWE” – Recently Departed WWE Stars
Former NXT Champion Karrion Kross gained a lot of fan support this year, but WWE chose not to renew his and his wife Scarlett’s contracts, letting them go after their deals expired in August.
Speaking on The Coach and Bro Show, Kross and Scarlett discussed their departure and revealed that they are now earning more than they were in WWE.
“This sounds crazy, and it might not seem believable, but it’s something I feel like the people in WWE who might be stressed out, ‘Am I going to get released?’ They might want to hear this. We are making more than we were making there, and we were getting paid very well, but we are making more now weekly on the shows we’re doing than we were at WWE. WWE pays great, but it can be done if you hustle,” Scarlett said.
“You have the shows. You have independent merchandising. You have toys. There’s independent video games being developed that a lot of people don’t know about – they’re looking for unsigned talent. There’s the conventions,” Kross added.
• Major Health Update On Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens has been out of action for most of 2025 after suffering a serious neck injury earlier this year. The former Universal Champion was pulled from in-ring competition ahead of WrestleMania 41, where he was originally slated to face Randy Orton before being replaced by Joe Hendry.
The Prizefighter later underwent major neck surgery in July to repair the damage. His recovery is expected to be a lengthy one, with WWE officials not expecting him back in the ring until at least the summer of 2026.
In a positive update, Owens posted a video on X showing himself back in the gym and training. You can watch it below:

• Omos Reveals Why WWE Is Keeping Him Off TV
Omos hasn’t been seen on WWE television since competing in the 2024 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania 40. Recently, he returned to live events for NXT, picking up a victory over Lexis King and having a face-off with Oba Femi.
Speaking on the Muscle Memory podcast, Omos explained that his absence from television is due to fan reception, saying that he’ll return when the audience shows more support.
“You people don’t like me, that’s why I’m not on TV. The moment you guys change your tune I’ll be back on your TV screens.
Until then I’m gonna go to where I’m loved. They love me overseas, they love me everywhere else. I went to Japan and had a blast. I went to Mexico and had a blast. Did a little side gig in NXT, it was fun but you know, they don’t have love for your boy like the Omosapiens do.
The more people that become Omosapiens, maybe I just swoop back onto your TV screen. Who knows.”
Until fans show their support for The Nigerian Giant, it looks like WWE will continue to use him in AAA and NXT only.

• Fired Wrestler Says He Regrets Badmouthing WWE
Ridge Holland was fired from WWE just nine days before his contract was set to expire. The decision came after a series of social media posts criticizing the company. WWE officials were said to be unhappy with Holland’s remarks about his financial struggles while injured, viewing them as a breach of his contract.
In his final post before the release, Holland expressed his frustration on X, saying he felt “hung out to dry” by the company and worried about how he would pay his mortgage while recovering from injury.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the former NXT Tag Team Champion admitted that the post was made out of frustration and said that he now regrets it.
“What I will hold my hands up for is that last tweet that forced the situation to get worse, that was purely out of frustration and I’m mad at myself for doing that because it’s something that’s out of character for me.
But I think knowing that my career with WWE was coming to an end and I never got to show my true potential, whether that’s my fault or situational, regarding injuries or things that happened, I felt a little bit wronged.
I don’t know who by, just by the whole situation, so I hold my hands up and if I had the time again I wouldn’t have posted that tweet but I needed an outlet. I needed to vent.”
Following his release, Holland launched a GoFundMe campaign. The fundraiser has received widespread attention and support from the wrestling community, with multiple wrestlers contributing.
• Charlotte Flair Reacts To Her Wardrobe Malfunction On SmackDown
The SmackDown after Saturday Night’s Main Event aired last night from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
It was quite an action-packed episode, kicking off with a new feud between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black, Chelsea Green dethroning Giulia to claim the Women’s United States Championship and ending with Drew McIntyre’s suspension.
However, one of the most unexpected and talked-about moments of the night was WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair’s wardrobe malfunction.
The Queen shared a brief staredown with new WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill on her way to the ring for her match against Nia Jax. The screen cut to black multiple times during the bout after The Queen suffered a n*p slip. She had a rough night overall as Lash Legend debuted to take out her partner Alexa Bliss, leading to Jax securing the win while Flair was distracted.
A fan took to X to ask if Charlotte Flair had a wardrobe malfunction. The Queen replied that she might just have to change her gear at this point:
“I’m going to start wrestling in the robes”
