• “What a b***h” – HOFer On CM Punk Burying The Hatchet With Triple H
CM Punk was backstage at RAW at the Allstate Arena in Chicago this past Monday.
Punk reportedly asked if he could stay backstage for a few minutes and he wanted to speak to Triple H privately.
According to Fightful Select, Triple H was shocked to see Punk at a WWE event after 9 years.
HHH said he’d have to ask Vince McMahon to see if Punk can stay backstage, and soon he was informed that isn’t possible. Punk then shook Triple H’s hand before leaving.
It looks like one of the main reasons of Punk’s visit was to bury the hatchet with some of the guys he had issues with.
Punk and The Miz met last night and settled their differences.
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff saw this report and tweeted the following:
“What a b***h.
If it’s even possible, he’s made the word ‘punk’ even more demeaning than: a worthless person (often used as a general term of abuse).“
A fan then took Punk’s side by stating that Punk makes more money than Bischoff.
This led to Bischoff replying:
“I live a life that most can only imagine. I don’t depend on anyone or anything beyond my faith, family, and my blessings. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. Especially for a parasite to the industry like CM Punk.”
Bischoff has noted in the past that he wasn’t a fan of Punk putting down Hulk Hogan in his return to pro-wrestling promo in AEW in 2021, as that was a cheap way to get a pop.
Eric said Punk doesn’t have what it takes to get over on his own, unless he uses all these back-handed tactics of ripping other people.

• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School World Wrestling Federation Legend Kane (Real name: Glenn Jacobs) turns 56 today.
He also used to play the roles of Bruiser Mastino (WCW), Unabomb (SMW), Isaac Yankem, DDS (WWF) & Fake Diesel (WWF) before they found a character for him, that would make him famous and gave him a 20+ year run with the company: “The Big Red Machine” Kane.
In storyline Kane was the lost brother of The Undertaker, brought to the World Wrestling Federation by Paul Bearer to go after his kayfabe brother, but a few years later they eventually started teaming up as The Brothers of Destruction.
Jacobs is currently the mayor of Knox County (Knoxville, Tennessee) but will still return to the WWE every now and then.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021, but the ceremony took place without a crowd due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
