• On his podcast, Kurt Angle recalled his first meeting with fellow Olympic Gold Medalist and former WWE wrestler Gable Steveson.
Here’s what Angle said:
“I met him. He’s like, ‘Hey, Kurt Angle, I just want to tell you, I respect your career, and I want to be just like you.’ I was like, ‘Oh, thank you, Gable.’
He goes, ‘You know what? No, I want to be better than you.’ I was like, holy s**t. (Laughs) What an a**hole thing to say (laughs). I said, ‘Well, good luck, man.’”
Angle and Steveson worked together during a segment on the December 9, 2022 episode of SmackDown, where Angle celebrated his 54th birthday. Steveson drove a milk truck to the ring and he & Angle sprayed milk from a hose on Alpha Academy.

During an episode of The Wrestling Outlaws podcast, Vince Russo asked former WWE wrestler EC3 his thoughts on Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion said Liv smells great. Russo didn’t let this comment slide:
“EC3, bro, time out! You said she smelled good, which tells me, at some point in time, you sniffed her, bro! You sniffed her at some point in time, bro!”
EC3 replied:
“Sniff is such an intrusive invasion of her personal space, Vince. I’m actually livid, you would say sniff. Now, what I was missing earlier that got cut out was that our polarities match our energies.
First of all, yes, I considered a courtship perhaps, but no, I didn’t sniff her. And I said she smelled great, not good! And I didn’t sniff, but when you’re around somebody, and they have a pleasant aroma, smelling is one of the five senses God gave us!”
