• What Is WWE Going To Do After CM Punk Makes His AEW Debut This Friday Night?

CM Punk is highly expected to make his All Elite Wrestling debut on this Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage.

AEW Rampage begins at 10 PM EST on TNT, just after WWE’s SmackDown goes off the air on FOX.

Many fans are wondering how WWE will react to AEW making such a big move 24 hours before the biggest event of the summer, the SummerSlam 2021 PPV. Punk’s AEW debut will obviously create a lot of buzz on Social Media.

According to Wrestlevotes, WWE isn’t planning on making any reactionary move:

“Source states to not expect a “reactionary” move if, more like when, CM Punk shows up on AEW Rampage Friday night, 24 hours prior to WWE’s second biggest show of the year. Time will tell.”

• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (August 16, 1986) – WWF Superstars of Wrestling

On this day in 1986, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.

This was the original third nationally syndicated show that later became known as “WWF Wrestling Spotlight” after the August 30, 1986 episode.

NOT to be confused with the famous “WWF Superstars of Wrestling” TV show, that eventually took over WWF Championship Wrestling in September 1986 and ran until 1997, before becoming a recap/highlights show that ran till 2001.
