• “What ‘proof’ do people expect from someone being assaulted?” – Former WWE Personality On Janel Grant – Vince McMahon Situation
During her recent public appearance in Connecticut, Janel Grant made several significant claims regarding the fallout from her NDA with Vince McMahon and WWE.
Grant said the aftermath of the 2022 Wall Street Journal story led to a suicide attempt, described spending six figures of her own money to participate in WWE’s internal investigation, and alleged that the company pressured her to issue a joint statement describing the relationship as consensual.

Former WWE interviewer Kayla Braxton tweeted the following about this situation:
“Genuine question: what ‘proof’ do people expect from someone being assaulted? You don’t pull out a camera, and if there’s a power imbalance and you’re isolated, who’s protecting you? Dismissing dozens of accounts because of lack of proof is… just exhausting.”
A fan posted: “Should we just jail every person accused of assault on accusation alone? Every person who makes accusations aren’t always lying but aren’t always telling the truth either.”
Kayla replied: “You’re correct. People have lied about assault. But when dozens of people accuse the SAME person of assault… maybe we should look into a little harder, no?”

• AJ Styles Reveals His Original WWE Retirement Plan
During his Farewell Tour vlog on WWE’s YouTube channel, AJ Styles revealed that he originally planned to retire at WrestleMania 41, but changed his mind because he had just returned from his Lisfranc foot injury:
“Everybody wants to retire at WrestleMania, the biggest show of the year that we do. I was going to do exactly that, but I just came back from an injury that was supposed to retire me. It retires most.
Once I got healed up and was comfortable enough running and doing what I need to do to be AJ Styles, it just didn’t feel right to come back for two months just to retire. It didn’t seem right and I thought, what a way to be able to leave on the pay-per-view where you debuted.
Hopefully, at the end of this match, I stand up on my own two feet and I throw up the P1 that is on my gloves one more time, and I walk.”
At WrestleMania 41 – Night 2, Logan Paul defeated AJ Styles.
Styles eventually retired at Royal Rumble 2026, after losing a career-threatening match to Gunther.
