4. The New Day Defeat The Forgotten Sons
On last week’s SmackDown, The Forgotten Sons, Lucha House Party and John Morrison & The Miz came out to demand a shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. But only The Forgotten Sons managed to get a non-Title match (where a win could earn them a shot at the Titles), as they took out every team in front of them.
Steve Cutler, Jaxson Ryker and Wesley Blake will have the biggest match of their career tonight, as they’ll get an opportunity to face the SmackDown Tag Team Champion. However, it doesn’t look like they’ll win tonight’s bout.
Firstly, they just arrived on the main roster, while Kofi Kingston and Big E also won the Titles just two weeks ago. In addition, WWE hinted a Fatal-4-Way match for the Titles last week, so they’ll earn a Title opportunity in that match at Money In The Bank.
