• What’s Up With Sasha Banks After She Missed SummerSlam 2021?

“The Boss” Sasha Banks was scheduled to face Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2021, which would have been a WrestleMania 37 rematch, but it didn’t happen.

It was announced that Sasha is unable to compete and Carmella was announced as her replacement, and then Becky Lynch ended up taking Carmella’s place and squashed Bianca to win the SmackDown Women’s Title.

According to PWInsider, Sasha isn’t cleared to compete and isn’t expected to return on this week’s SmackDown either:

“Banks was not on the road for WWE this past weekend and unless there is a last minute change, we are told she will not be returning this week, either.”

Sasha missed a few WWE Supershows (Live Events / House Shows) before SummerSlam as well.

• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 60th birthday of Old School WWF Legend “The Beast from the East” Bam Bam Bigelow (Real name: Scott Bigelow).

The 400 lbs Legend used to move like a cruiserweight in the ring, including drop kicks, moonsaults, cart wheels and his finisher – the diving headbutt.

Him and Big Van Vader, who had similar bodies and moved around in a pretty similar way, are both considered the greatest ‘Big Men’ (chubby superheavyweights) in professional wrestling history.

Bam Bam passed away in 2007 and has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, which is only a question of “when”, not “if”.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † REST IN PEACE
