At AEW Grand Slam Australia, “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy defeated Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta in a Hair vs. Hair match. Yuta got his head shaved.

According to Fightful Select, many within the company believed Wheeler Yuta was going to have his head shaved as part of the Grand Slam storyline, and he was a “good sport” about it.

Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, together known as The IInspiration (fka The IIconics in WWE), have signed with AEW.

At today’s AEW House Rules live event / house show, they made their AEW debut and defeated Frankie B and Aysha. After the match, they announced that they are All Elite.

AEW Grand Slam Australia aired on TV last night and the event wasn’t sold out. According to Fightful Select, AEW moved several fans to better seats due to unsold sections, aiming to enhance the television presentation.

– AEW Continental Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita ended in a 20-minute time-limit draw

– Winner receives an AEW World Championship match at Revolution: AEW Trios Champion “Hangman” Adam Page def. Andrade El Idolo

– Hair vs. Hair Match (the person who gets pinned or submitted will get their head shaved): “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy def. Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta

Yuta got his head shaved.

– AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Babes of Wrath (TBS Champion Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) (c) def. Megabad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) to retain the titles

After the match, Lena Kross made her AEW debut and joined forces with Megabad.

– Ladder Match For The TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) def. Mark Briscoe to retain the title

– AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) def. Brody King to retain the title

There were “F**k ICE” chants at the start of the match. “Hangman” Adam Page came out after the match and signed the contract for a World Title match against MJF at Revolution 2026.
