• When Will Seth Rollins’ Attacker Appear In Court?

For attacking WWE Superstar Seth Rollins on this week’s RAW, 24-year-old Elisah Spencer was charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs (disrupting live sporting event).

WWE issued the following statement:

“WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously. The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Rollins said the following about this incident to TMZ:

“It’s terrifying, brother. It happened very quickly.

I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job. Which they did very quickly. And then was just trying to detach and move on. Hope that everybody is okay.

Once the tackle happened I knew what was going on. The guy was barreling around the corner.

No, no serious injuries. Nothing like that. I was safe, we were safe. Everything was okay.”

When asked what punishment that fan deserves, Rollins said:

“I think as a precedence he probably should not be allowed at the events.”

TMZ reports that Spencer is scheduled to appear in court for his hearing in December.
