Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day:

– Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. was scheduled to face Ruby Soho of The Outcasts in the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, but this match didn’t happen.

AEW President Tony Khan tweeted the following about it:

“Due to illness, 2022 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Winner Dr. Britt Baker DMD isn’t cleared to wrestle vs. Ruby Soho.

Ruby Soho will be in action, + the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal Britt Baker vs Ruby Soho will take place next week.”

Soho ended up facing Alexia Nicole on Dynamite, and went on to defeat Nicole with Baker’s submission move.

Britt’s real-life boyfriend Adam Cole was also ill recently, which resulted in him missing the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2023 PPV this past Sunday, where he was scheduled to face Tom Lawlor.

– According to insider source BWE, WWE is planning a feud between LA Knight and Logan Paul regardless of who wins the Men’s Money In The Bank 2023 Ladder Match.

The seeds for this feud were planted on a recent episode of RAW, when LA said the following:

“He makes videos for 14 year old girls and wants to call himself a mega star.”

A report from Xero News also stated that WWE wants Logan to face Ricochet in a singles match as well, as that way Logan can get a long awaited win. His last victory was at SummerSlam 2022, where he defeated The Miz.
