• Many fans were expecting CM Punk to shoot on AEW in some kind of way during his WWE return promo, but that didn’t happen.
Fans shouldn’t expect this to happen as Punk signed an NDA with All Elite Wrestling to not talk about them after getting fired.
Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported about it:
“For those wondering or disappointed that Punk said nothing about AEW, it’s because both he and others have signed several NDA’s regarding talking publicly about the other.”
This is also the reason why Tony refused to comment about Punk returning to WWE after almost 10 years:
“Can’t talk about that, nor do I think it’s the time and the place. I appreciate you asking, I’m very excited about AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. Not to dodge your question, but it’s not something I can legally talk about.”
• AEW wrestler Chuck Taylor is dealing with a foot injury.
• According to the Wrestling Observer, AEW World Champion MJF won’t be getting surgery for his torn labrum and is going to be working on stem cell therapy and rehab to heal.
• TMZ asked Ronda Rousey if she’ll wrestle in AEW after recent ROH debut. Rousey said:
“No, no, I don’t think so. Just trying to be home with the family and be a full-time mom.”
Rousey’s WWE run ended at SummerSlam 2023, where she lost to Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules Match.
