• Why Daffney’s Daughter Refused To Participate In Her Mother’s Dark Side Of The Ring Episode

The wrestling world still feels the loss of former WCW valet Daffney, who passed away in 2021. However, her daughter, Jamie Lynn Senegal, has stated clearly that she did not want to be involved in the ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ episode about her mother.

Senegal shared her decision on Twitter. She wrote, “With all due respect I couldn’t be a part of this and cannot watch this. Please do my mom right. Couldn’t as in didn’t want to be and refused to partake.”

Jamie further explained why she didn’t want to be a part of it:

“You’re quick as f**k to judge for someone who has no idea what my experience was like getting contacted for that. I would NEVER sell out someone I love for TV time, so please go touch grass.”

Daffney, whose real name was Shannon Spruill, was a valet and wrestler in WCW, TNA, and other organizations. Her last recorded match was on April 10, 2011, where she won against Sammi Lane at a PWF show in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

• Carmella Reveals Her New Goal After WWE Departure

Carmella told Sports Illustrated she’s not planning a wrestling comeback anytime soon.

“I think at some point I’d love to put my Jordans back on, move on back out there and get in the ring again at some point. Just not right now,” Carmella stated. “I’m trying to focus on other things.”

Right now, her focus is on her brand and life outside of WWE. “I feel like I did that for 12 years and now I’m really trying to just focus on being a mom, building my brand, building Snatch,” she explained.

While wrestling is on hold, Carmella has a new goal. “I’m on Sports Illustrated right now. I’m manifesting being on SI Swim. That’s like bucket list of mine. I’m pretty big on manifesting,” she said.

Looking back at her WWE career, Carmella recognized her achievements but is ready for something different. “I never in my life thought I would be in WWE and I did that and I was champion. I did all these things as part of the women’s evolution. What else can I do? Who knows?” she reflected.
