Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Sting and Kevin Nash.

• WCW Legend Sting is scheduled to have his retirement match at the AEW Revolution 2024 PPV on March 3rd.

The Icon was offered to keep wrestling and have a match at the All In 2024 PPV in Wembley Stadium, but Stinger turned it down.

Here’s what AEW President Tony Khan said about it during an interview with New York Post:

“I wanted to know if Sting believed he could participate next year, and I knew he felt like he might not have another year left in him when we were at Wembley this year but he was still feeling very good and he wants to stay feeling very good through his retirement.

He told me as we approached this ticket on sale that he did not believe he could make it another year in wrestling and have the best chance for a happy and healthy retirement.

He’s doing great right now, and he wants to keep it that way. He plans to keep beating people up and keeping himself healthy.”

• On his Kliq This podcast, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash revealed the top 3 matches he’d like to see at WrestleMania 40:

1. Roman Reigns (c) vs. Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

“I have Randy winning the Rumble and going to (face) Roman. Randy did state and he wanted to come back and do 10 more years.”

2. Seth Rollins (c) vs. Cody Rhodes for the World Heavyweight Championship

“I would do Rollins and Cody.”

3. CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens

“I’d do Punk and KO if you can keep them apart that long.”
