WrestleMania 41 was originally rumored to take place at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Wendy Blackshaw, President of Minnesota Sports and Events, had the following to say about WWE changing their plans for next year’s WrestleMania:

“We were informed by WWE that Minnesota would not host WrestleMania in 2025 due to a change in direction by new ownership.

Although disappointed, we are in discussions with WWE about future events in Minnesota. We are optimistic that Minnesota will host WWE events here in the future.”

• In the opening match of Backlash France, Tanga Loa (fka Camacho in NXT), brother of Tama Tonga, made his return to WWE and interfered in the Street Fight.

He helped Tama and Solo Sikoa defeat Randy Orton & Kevin Owens. Solo pinned Owens to pick up the win.

It should be noted that Tanga botched his return as he didn’t interfere in time to break the referee’s pinfall count, and the referee himself had to save that spot.

The Wrestling Observer reported the following about Triple H bringing in Tanga Loa:

“Tanga Loa’s deal and Tama Tonga’s were actually together, it’s just that… the Tanga Loa thing it didn’t get out because New Japan (Pro Wrestling) never announced [his contract had expired], they never gave him a farewell.

WWE obviously never announces anything like this, but this is not like something from the last two weeks, this deal was decided on months ago.”
