The decision to hold WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas marks a notable shift from the initial frontrunner, Minnesota, to host the spectacle. While the change may have caught some off guard, it amplifies the anticipation for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend.

As the announcement coincides with Easter weekend, some fans found themselves questioning WWE’s timing. The decision to hold the event during a time when many are celebrating raised eyebrows.

The Wrestling Observer reported the following about this decision:

“Vegas wanted it because they wanted them in when it traditionally is not a good weekend for tourism. That’s the reason they wanted them in because they wanted them in on a weekend that’s not good for tourism.

So they’ll have a great weekend because lots of people are going to come in. So that was the reason that it was that weekend.

WWE just wanted to make sure that they were away from the Final Four. There were two dates noted. That was the first weekend of May, and then it was Easter weekend. And you know, traditionally, WWE has always avoided Easter, but the city of Las Vegas wanted Easter. That’s the deal.”
