• Why WWE Didn’t Make NXT Announcement On RAW, AEW Isn’t Scared Of War With NXT
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that NXT will debut on the USA Network on September 18th. The show will air from 8 to 10 p.m. EST every Wednesday night (which means it will be going head-to-head with AEW’s TV show on TNT).
AEW Executive Vice President Nick Jackson (of The Young Bucks) tweeted the following regarding this announcement:
We aren’t scared. https://t.co/7mMS8zC1KQ
— The Young Bucks® (@NickJacksonYB) August 19, 2019
WWE was expected to make this announcement regarding NXT on this week’s RAW, but no announcement was made.
According to Brad Shepard, WWE officials weren’t happy with the fact that their big NXT announcement got leaked and this resulted in them nixing the plan for the announcement on RAW.
No word yet on when WWE will officially announce NXT’s debut on the USA Network.
