After the match, The Cage of Agony appeared on the titantron. Hechicero challenged MJF to a match at Forbidden Door.
– AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and AEW International Champion Will Ospreay came face-to-face ahead of their World Title Match at Forbidden Door. Swerve said that Ospreay had to receive assistance from Don Callis at last year’s Forbidden Door to defeat Kenny Omega, and questioned if he will attempt to use Don again to help him this year.
Ospreay said he doesn’t need Don to defeat Swerve. Ospreay said Swerve had a Hit Row (referencing Swerve’s WWE faction), while he had a hit list and took out everyone he faced and didn’t miss one of them. Swerve said he doesn’t have any friends because he got rid of them, and questioned if Ospreay can sacrifice what it takes to become the AEW World Champion, including the love of his family. Ospreay told Swerve to not mention his son again and left the ring. Swerve asked Ospreay what if he wants to make it personal and told Ospreay to send his regards to his kids Al & Harry.

– Don Callis met Rush backstage and wants to discuss an opportunity for him.
– The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) (with Billy Gunn) def. AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicolas Jackson) in a Title Eliminator Match
– Mariah May held a Contract Signing between “Timeless” Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa ahead of their AEW Women’s World Championship match at Forbidden Door. Mina told Mariah that she has to pick which side she will be on at the PPV. Saraya, Harley Cameron & Anna Jay interrupted before Mariah could pick, and went after all three of them. Toni went through a Table while trying to put Saraya through it.
This situation between Mina Shirakawa, Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa just got a little more complicated…

After the match, The Cage of Agony and Hechicero attacked Garcia. MJF came out to make the save, but the numbers game was too much. Will Ospreay then made the save for MJF and they cleared the ring and had a face off.
