Below are the complete results from tonight’s WWE NXT Roadblock.
– Dijak def. Joe Gacy in an Asylum Match
– In a backstage segment, The Family declared that tonight will belong to Tony D’Angelo. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo introduced Luca Crusifino to the group. Tony then addressed Luca, expressing his desire for Luca to serve as his consigliere. He emphasized that Luca must be readily available whenever needed, without hesitation or inquiry. Tony presented his terms plainly, asking for Luca’s acceptance or rejection. Luca consented, and they sealed the agreement with a handshake, followed by Tony kissing him on both cheeks.
– Fallon Henley expressed gratitude towards Riley Osborne for conversing with Thea Hail. Riley recounted his recent encounter with Thea, mentioning her disinterest and lack of engagement, which left him unsure how to proceed. He noted that Thea seemed different from her previous lively self. Henley criticized the advice given to Thea, suggesting it led to her current demeanor.
Blair Davenport interjected, advising Henley to refrain from meddling in others’ affairs. Henley challenged Blair, inviting her to offer guidance if she disagreed with her approach. In response, Blair warned Henley against inviting criticism, implying it would only add to her list of failures.
– Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin (c) def. Chase U to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship
Jacy Jayne wasn’t happy with Chase U’s loss and put up the L sign. This led to Thea Hail running to the back.
– Shawn Spears def. Uriah Connors
Spears addressed Ridge Holland after the match. Ridge came out and attacked Shawn. Spears encouraged Holland to hit him in the head with a Steel Chair, but Ridge couldn’t do it. He dropped the chair and left the ring.
– Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) (c) def. NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Roxanne Perez assaulted Lyra after the match and hurt her arm. Lyra was taken to the back on a stretcher and loaded into an Ambulance. Shawn Michaels and NXT General Manager Ava looked concerned.
– Fallon Henley def. Blair Davenport after Sol Ruca (who was out of action with a knee injury) returned and attacked Blair outside the ring behind the referee’s back
– Arianna Grace (Santino Marella’s daughter) revealed her stipulation for facing Gigi Dolin: if she wins, she’ll be allowed to bring out the real woman in Gigi. Gigi agreed.
– The No Quarter Catch Crew assembled in the ring, with any member eligible to defend the Heritage Cup. William Regal made a surprise return, expressing his profound connection to the Heritage Cup as it symbolizes the excellence of the British and European wrestling scene. He urged them to uphold the cup with the utmost honor and integrity. Regal’s son Charlie Dempsey confidently declared his commitment to defending the cup, saying he’ll do it better than Regal ever could. Regal responded that he would be closely monitoring their actions.
– Mr. Stone wants Von Wagner to step aside and let him fight Lexis King.
– Tony D’Angelo def. Carmelo Hayes to earn an NXT Championship match against Ilja Dragunov at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 during WrestleMania 40 weekend
During the ending moments of the match, Trick Williams’ theme song played, which distracted Carmelo. Trick didn’t come out, but Tony took advantage of this and laid out Hayes for the win.
After the match, Tony apologized for pulling this trick, but then brought out Williams. Trick returned and went after Carmelo and his security to end the show.
