Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring Hulk Hogan and SmackDown.

• According to ABC News 5 in Cleveland, a 50-year-old woman was injured on Monday night after being struck by a beer can during a promotional event featuring Hulk Hogan in Medina Township.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the Thirsty Cowboy on Medina Road, where Hogan was promoting his new beer brand, “Real American Beer.”

Witnesses gave conflicting accounts, with some claiming Hogan threw the beer can, while others said it was a crew member who “was throwing beers from the stage like a ‘baseball pitch'”.

No arrests or charges were made due to the conflicting information. The woman required 9 stitches as a result of the injury.

Speaking of the Hulkster, he stirred controversy during this event, where he made provocative comments about Vice President Kamala Harris.

While speaking to the crowd, Hogan asked, “Want me to bodyslam Kamala Harris? Want me to drop the leg on Kamala?” The crowd reacted enthusiastically.

Hogan, who has previously shown support for Donald Trump, also made a questionable joke about Harris’s Indian heritage, asking, “Is Kamala a Chameleon? Because she’s Indian?”

Realizing he may have crossed a line, Hogan attempted to backtrack by blaming the comments on alcohol, saying, “I’m going to get heat for that one, brother. That was not me, that was the beers talking.”
