4. Eva Marie Scheduled To Become The Top Female Superstar of SmackDown Live, “Women Will Soon Main Event At WWE PPVs” – Charlotte

As we noted before, the injury angle with Eva Marie on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live was just a storyline (about which we’ll get to know in the coming weeks). Speaking of Eva, there are big plans for her on the Blue Brand.

WWE officials think she has the perfect look of what a female Superstar should look like and she’s in for a mega push on the SmackDown brand, where the officials plan to make her the top female wrestler of the Brand.

During a recent interview with Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, former WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte talked about what people don’t like about her, women main eventing WWE PPVs in the future & more. Below are the highlights:

On what people don’t like about her character:

“Professionally, I think that’s what people don’t like about the Charlotte characters is she’s Ric Flair’s daughter. As of right now, where the character is the bragging rights of it’s in my bloods adds to it. On a personal level, I’m damned if I do, damned if I don’t. If people can’t look pass my last name and see my athletic ability then I guess I can’t win everyone over.”

On Women having a main event match soon in WWE:

“We’ve had contract signings for RAW which was huge. We were one of the main events for WrestleMania with the triple threat. I have no doubt in the next couple months we’ll main event a pay-per-view.”

Speaking of the women in WWE, new WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks revealed the sideplates of her Title belt on Twitter:
