7. Backstage News on How Brock Lesnar Played a Role in Paul Heyman Re-Signing With WWE, Paige & Jimmy Uso Dealing With Injuries

As we noted before, Paul Heyman WWE contract expired a few weeks back and he didn’t re-sign it. Reports suggest that Heyman wanted WWE to pay him more but officials didn’t agree to this demand of Heyman.

The contract was re-signed when Brock Lesnar’s WWE return was just around the corner and Lesnar told the WWE officials that he wants Heyman with him, so make it happen. No word yet on if Heyman got the deal he wanted or he re-signed to the same old conditions of his contract.

Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman appeared on both Raw & SmackDown Live this week.

Paige & Jimmy Uso are currently dealing with injuries. While Paige is dealing with back and shoulder issues, Jimmy Uso’s injury is unknown at the moment. Due to being injured, Paige has been pulled from the upcoming tours of Australia & New Zealand. She’s expected to be out of action for at least 2 more weeks. Jimmy Uso’s timetable of return is unknown at the moment as he was scheduled to return at this Tuesday’s tapings, but he didn’t.
