• Wrestler Injured At AEW Tapings

An injury occurred during the AEW Dark: Elevation tapings in Orlando on Friday night.

Action Andretti vs. Slim J got stopped when Andretti suffered an injury. The medics were seen checking on him.

A couple of fans who were in attendance noted the following on Twitter:

“The match has been called off, there is a medic in the ring checking on Action Andretti, maybe a concussion?”

“His leg was twitching, I hope he’s ok. Glad he was able to walk out assisted.”

For those who don’t know, Andretti pinned Chris Jericho in his AEW TV debut on Dynamite: Winter In Coming in December 2022. This upset was compared to Razor Ramon getting pinned by The Kid (later known as 1-2-3 Kid and as X-Pac during the Attitude Era) in the WWF in 1993.
