On this day in 2000, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF SmackDown!’.
It was pre-taped at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana and featured pre-taped matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 2000’ PPV.

At today’s FOX’s Founders Day event, Elias lost the WWE 24/7 Championship to R-Truth.
Drake Maverick was there too and tried to go after R-Truth, but failed.

This made R-Truth a 13 time WWE 24/7 Champion!
While R-Truth was running away from Maverick, he stumbled into the Fox Sports Studio and got pinned by Fox Sports Analyst Rob Stone, who became the new 24/7 Champion.
Elias then came out of nowhere and pinned Rob to regain the 24/7 Title!
